Thanks for all these wonderful links, payslee. Looks like that Pringle potato chip scientist is the expert on the history. We'd all seen him before in the Oregon Field Guide episode in which Splinty appeared to talk about Warren Falls. Only it was earlier in the episode, talking about a different topic.
