Thanks Paul! That's high praise from such a knowledgable gorge veteran! I think you'd enjoy the book. I had a lot of fun researching and collecting historical sources. I thought the postcards, engravings, quotes, etc. helped capture the various experiences of gorge explorers. I certainly learned a lot in the process! I began the book enthralled with the unknown falls of the gorge and its natural history, and ended almost equally fascinated by the human narrative. The gorge is amazing... But then you know that probably better than anyone!
