Matt,

Congratulations on your book! Looks exactly the stuff I like most - some less crowded, scenic destinations.

At least one place of those mentioned above (15-mile creek) I thought a lot about and just couldn't find enough info. Some other places I never knew existed. Will get a copy at Powell's this or next week.

Roman.

Excellent presentation last night and Matt was even sporting a "Portland Hiker" badge! The book is of high quality and includes 41 hikes that are unknown to me, so lots of new places to explore! The guidebook is warmly recommended.

Congrats Matt! Won't be able to make it to see your current appearances, but if you make it down the valley somewhere I'll try and catch it. Looking forward to reading it.

Mrs. P. and I enjoyed your enthusiastic presentation at the Mazama Lodge Wednesday. Thanks for the effort in putting this out there. It's the kind of book a frequent hiker as well as the occasional hiker can enjoy. I think the biggest take away from the presentation was - it's a 50 way tie for your favorite, most incredible hike. :P

Thanks to everyone who came out to the two events over the last week or so. You rock!

The book is now sold out at Powell's downtown. :)

Hello Mr. Reeder,

Thought you might like knowing that someone read your article in the Mazamas Bulletin and REALLY enjoyed it -- best content I've read in the Bulletin. I immediately added a couple of the hikes you detailed to my "to-hike" list for this year.

Looking forward to finding a copy of your book!

Received my copy on Friday... I've really been digging it! I like the shout-out to the "loonies" as well. :D Oh, and hike #50 looks particularly enticing to me. Thanks for putting in all the effort to make this an outstanding resource!
