All,
I'm upgrading to a Nikon d7000 so I am selling my d90, BODY ONLY for $400.
Camera is in great shape and has a lot of great features. The $400 also includes TWO batteries. My typical battery life (non-flash) ranged about 1,000 photos. This meant I usually recharged my batteries about once every two weeks to a month.
You can read about some other specs here:

What's great is that it does video clips as well, up to 5 minutes each.

Re: Nikon D90 Body $400
Sorry to ask a stupid question, but what needs to be added to a "body only" camera for it to work?
Re: Nikon D90 Body $400
I'll second the comment about the D90 being a great camera. I'll be interested to hear how much of an upgrade the D7000 is, as I'm quite happy with the D90.
A "body only" camera should include all the items originally sold with the body (such as battery, charger, strap, cables, user manual) but you should verify that. To use the camera, you would need, at a minimum, a Nikon compatible lens and a memory card. Memory cards are cheap. Lenses come in all price ranges--the advantage of a DSLR is that you can change lenses...but the more and better lenses you buy, the more you spend. A tripod is also a good idea if you are doing landscape photography. And you might want some filters. And an external flash. And a bag to carry everything.... Buying a DSLR is like taking the first step on the path of a dangerous addiction...you just keep buying more and more.

This camera has sold already! Sorry anyone interested!
Ya, a lens that comes standard with the camera ranges from $300-400 and is very nice.
I can't wait to take the new camera on it's first hike!
