Multiple trees down on the "new" trail up to the quarry. A few groups of trees down in the switchbacks between the McIntyre/Douglas junction and Wildcat Mountain. Thanks to whoever took a saw to the trees down on the McIntyre Ridge trail!

PS - beargrass is just coming on in sunny spots, looks to be a decent year up there.

I went up Wildcat today via McIntyre Ridge and the "New McIntyre" trailhead.

I heard at least a dozen shots while I was directly east of the Douglas trailhead on the ridge, and more when I was driving by on my way out.

The end of the paved road seems to be the default trailhead, the road from there is quite rutted out. The actual trailhead had plenty of shotgun shell casings and other trash.

Beyond that, I found the trail to be in great shape. Just a few trees down on the trail on the way to Wildcat, but they were easily passed over or around.
