WTA / PCTA trail issue - Large cedar down at PCT mile 2175.4

There is a large cedar (>4ft diameter) that has fallen across the PCT at mile point 2175.4 on a sloped hill. This is not far from Soda Springs road and the Wind river.
The tree fell from much farther up the slope and then slide downhill quite a long way. You can see the carved chute go way uphill. In any case, there is a user trail to get over the log but it is very sketchy and is damaging the hill as more and more people take it.
