Multnomah Basin Road @ Devil's Rest cut-off

Post by walrus » December 24th, 2015, 7:33 pm

Whopping big tree down right next to the road, covering where the the cut-off trail to Foxglove/420C leaves the road. You can scramble under it without much fuss and the tree is not on the road. More of an FYI if you're looking for the cut-off than a need for maintenance, probably.

It does make the spot look different. Look for the huge tree now and that's the spot. You can walk around it pretty easily.

I walked around it yesterday, but the snow was about a foot deep off the trail, so then I wished I had crawled under it!
