I was able to clear away quite a bit of small or rotten blow down but there are still a few trees down that need to be sawed out. Most of them should be fairly easy to remove but there is one nasty bit around 100 yards from the saddle TH that is going to require the professionals. Folks seem to be going 15 yards up or down from here to get around it. One 2.5-3' diameter snag fell and is lying around 3 feet in the air at trail level. Several smaller (8ish" diameter) are tangled just on the other side of the big snag.

Back Country Horsemen Columbia Gorge and several volunteers from PCTA maintained Gumjuwac Trail on Saturday including opening up the big log jam.
