The FS trail crew will head out there early next week to fix up High Bridge....look for nice, new cedar planking. Also next week the bridge engineer will be out doing full inspections on all five of the Eagle Creek bridges below the wilderness....First, Tish Creek, Fern Creek, High, 4 1/2 mile.

Farther up the trail, just after that log that lies along the trail between Eagle-Benson trail and Blue Grouse, there is a fallen log suspended over the trail. Easy to get under it, at least with a day pack, but it could fall on someone. It is roughly 6" diameter at the top end, and maybe 8" diameter at the base, so someone could remove this with a folding saw.
