Re: Mud.
Ok, on a more serious note, I haven't really volunteered with the Forest Service since the 36 Pit Fire last October. I performed a lot of work but the FS took all the credit. So I kind of felt like I was just an unpaid laborer, doing stuff even the FS doesn't do any more, like pickup garbage and clean and stock restrooms. But for cool guys like you, I would brandish a shovel and hike to the problem area and try to fix it the best I could. I remember a few months ago, I was sloshing through a mud bog on the Angel's Rest trail wishing I brought my remote control Monster Humvee along to create some major mayhem. So, if you want, I can hike up there with a square tip and create some major fat burning cardio. And glad you had fun drinking the I.P.A.'s. I like raspberry beers.

Had developers had their way, you could skip the walking part altogether and simply take the elevator.TJ_T wrote:Also, it gets very windy up there sometimes. If a fence or other structure could be built to help shield the exposed area I would imagine it could get more people to hike to this rarely visited vista.
