Grass widows are out on Munra Point

Post by [email protected] » March 18th, 2012, 3:05 pm

Did a great hike up Munra yesterday and was astounding to see so many grass widows blooming along with some other LYP (little yellow flowers). Even more amazing was there was not one bit of snow anywhere on the trail. Had anticipated some along with icey conditions but luckily, none and the trail is holding up and in great shape even with the heavy rain totals recently. Great workout. Unfortunately, it was a little overcast so no real picture.

That's all good news.

The little yellow flowers are probably gold stars.
