I notice that some pictures have the file name, size, etc. and others do not. How do I control that? (I prefer not to have that show - it seems to be unneccesary clutter)

I'm just guessing, but I think it's in the method used to display them. If the pictures are put in as attachments, the file info shows up, if they're added through an image tag, they don't.pdxblazer-pct77 wrote:I notice that some pictures have the file name, size, etc. and others do not. This doesn't seem to be true. I experimented with some photos and found sizes all the way up to 2560x1920 at 1.4M could be uploaded, but 2560x1920 at 2M could not. (I quit at 1.4M because that already seems excessive for uploading to the web -- I stuck with 900x675 which produced files around 300K -- even that's probably overkill.)

If you click on "browse", then select a picture, then click on "add the file", then click on "place inline" it looks like:
If you just click on "browse", then select a picture, then click on "add the file" it gets appended to the end of your post like:

Thanks Steve for the tips. I wouldn't have known about that "inline" button. It seemed to work well for my Fort to Sea TR.
