Oregon Hikers

When I search for hikes and enter my criterium, I get a great list. But some of the hikes are nowhere near my location. I know I can pull up the map and then click some hikes, but I would rather enter my search info and THEN see a map.

If you're using the "Area" drop down list in the Find a Hike! feature, it is rather general (e.g. not targeted to, say, a 40-mile radius from a gazillion different locations in the PNW).

I'm afraid the map on the Field Guide index page (menu bar above) is your best bet then. Hikes are grouped geographically within the regions, as you probably know, so it's a matter of browsing around for a few minutes.

Yes, a click of the area map in the Field Guide is working well.
