Oregon Hikers

I only seem to have problems when I try to post something. Not too long ago I previewed a post and it was fine but when I went to submit, I got a message that said I wasn't authorized to use this feature. After re-doing the lengthy post I tried again. Got the same message so I gave up. I was still logged in.

The only real problem I've had (since the upgrade) has been when posting a TR. I get timed out when putting captions on all the photos, and then I have to begin the whole process again (so I've decided not to put captions on the photos!).

If anyone wants to pay me enough I'll show you how to get around this (just kidding, I know nothing...)

Happened to me again. Grrrr

This is really starting to piss me off. I login and type out a reply, then submit, and it takes me back to the login screen, wiping out my entire original reply. In fact it did it twice on this reply.

It's possible the server is getting overloaded again with traffic, causing the web service to crash. I'll see if I can track it down. If it happens at a certain time of day that might be good information.

I'm having trouble recreating this- or detecting the issue, but I'll keep looking.

Are you using the site over http or https?

That is, it just has a little"i" in a circle, then www.oregonhikers.org...

I haven't had a problem recently

I had to sign in again yesterday and today.

Signed me out just now when I went between topics. Grrrrrr
