Site not remembering me
Re: Site not remembering me
Earlier I wanted to reply to something but was logged out. I clicked to log in, which then left me at the forum listing. By the time I got back to the post I wanted to respond to 2 clicks later, I was logged out again. Didn't happen here (though I had to log in 3 times to post this), but for the most part I am just giving up trying.
Re: Site not remembering me
Do you know the exact time this happened at (or can someone that it happens to please note the exact time)? Did you try using https? I just set it to force https in case that is causing the issue.
Other things that might be helpful:
What browser/device are you using?
Type of internet connection?
Do you use any add-ons in your browser (or anti-virus) that might cause some issue?
Are you seeing an error message- like maybe a Cloudflare error- during the time this happens?

Re: Site not remembering me
this type of problem is difficult to diagnose, you all have my sympathy
I have windows 10 home, it happened once a couple days ago, the only time it's happened

I made a couple tweaks to settings, we'll see what happens...

I would have been a few minutes before my posting that described it. OH.org naturally comes up as https for me. I'm using chrome on a Windows 10 machine.

The only solution for me is to always manually enter the complete address preceding with https://
I find it manually annoying that the site isn't set up to be secure without having to do that.

Is this fixed or are people being logged out so much they can’t comment?

Re: Site not remembering me
Seems to be fixed for me. Hope I didn't just speak too soon. Thanks.
Re: Site not remembering me
Seems to be fixed for me too. I'm not posting much now because I'm very involved in elections this year, which are cutting deeply into my late season trips.
