What Happened To The Edit Icon???

At first I thought, maybe it's just my computer, but I noticed I couldn't edit my recently posted TR. Then I just tried to edit a misspelled word in a reply, but noticed the "Edit" icon missing. Is this something new? It seems you can "Edit" from Forums that are not Trip Report related. And is this the work of Bosterson or Martell?

Are you logged in? sometimes all the features don't show up if you aren't logged in.

Forestkeeper, you were supposed to have your editing privileges revoked a couple years back when you were editing posts and replacing all the content with a dot. Unfortunately, there was a bug, and it wasn't working correctly. Recently, you have been making provocative statements and then going back and deleting them- which tipped me off to the problem. It is fixed now.

I'll talk to the moderators about turning it back on for you.

Hey Dan, I think the dot thing was geographics except when others would jokingly use a 'geo dot'...

Yeah, geographics is the only other person with that special status. People who did it jokingly aren't included.

Thanks Dan. I'm done with anything political and religious on this site. Just focusing on hiking, trip reports and trail maintenance. Especially with all of these windstorms.
