unable to view topo maps

Hi all you wonderful people that keep this site going. I have gradually lost the ability to view topo maps. Got a new computer and still no go. page opens, frame and tabs are present but no topo. Any suggestions.

You must mean "Portland Hiker Maps" in the Field Guide

Are you talking about pages like this? If so, the problem is that they're using the now-obsolete version 2 of the Google Maps API.

Warning: Version 2 of the Google Maps JavaScript API is no longer available. Please follow the guide to migrate your code to version 3 of the Google Maps JavaScript API. As of November 19, 2013, all applications requesting v2 are served a special, wrapped version of the v3 API instead. We expect this wrapped version of the API to work for most simple maps, but we strongly encourage you to migrate to the v3 API immediately.

Yep- we are aware of the issue. Should have a fix for it sometime soon. Thanks.

The "Maps" link at the top of the page works but you can't switch to "Topo" view.

Bobcat has been working really hard on the Field Guide lately, and the map is up to over 1600 points of interest.
