DST and the forum
Is there a way to turn Daylight Savings Time off for the forum? For half of every year it timestamps posts an hour ahead, and has just begun another round of doing so.

Thanks for reminding me! You need to toggle it manually in the User Profile, Board Settings.Bosterson wrote:Is there a way to turn Daylight Savings Time off for the forum?

Your posts reminded me to do that!
Actually, we are now on standard time only 1/3 (4 months) of the year.

Re: DST and the forum
Huh, this is strange. I posted something on a thread a few minutes ago and it displayed the correct time. Then I saw this thread and went into my user settings and set Summer Time/DST is in effect to "no". Then I posted a reply on a different thread and it also displayed the correct time. So no matter what that setting is, the time is displaying correctly for me. What gives?
Re: DST and the forum
If I have it set to "no", then your post (the one I quoted) shows 8:37. If I set it to "yes", your post is stamped 9:37 after I refresh the page. Try hitting F5?justpeachy wrote:So no matter what that setting is, the time is displaying correctly for me. What gives?

Ah yes, I'm seeing that now. Okay, this is good to know for the future.kepPNW wrote:If I have it set to "no", then your post (the one I quoted) shows 8:37. If I set it to "yes", your post is stamped 9:37 after I refresh the page. Try hitting F5?
