for all the hard work they do in keeping up with the spam-idiots and keeping the forums clean of garbage. :) :) :) :) :)

There sure has been a lot of spam lately. I think they're mostly Russians.

Dan does a lot of the hard work. For example, he's reponsible for "one click ban" that removes a user and all posts with one click.

Dan, the one-click BAM! ban button guy. Cool! I've been a forum mod on another forum for a few years now and it is nice to have those tools in place, and competent people to handle your forum technical needs.

I changed a few of the questions around which are supposed to throw off automated spammers. We'll see if it has any effect.

Hi Bill, there is a little red dot with an exclaimation point on the right side of the post box; you can click on that and we will see it, or comment under the post itself of your concerns and we will see it later and take action if needed, thanks! :)

What about for a PM, I didn't see any option in the PM menus?

All hail to our moderators! :D I am a mod on another forum and know that it takes time and vigilance!

If you have a problem with a PM (spam or abusive language), I'd suggest forwarding it to a moderator.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for reporting that spam PM. Hopefully that doesn't become a trend.
