Salmon Butte TH now requires NWFP

Post by squidvicious » June 21st, 2020, 1:38 pm

They installed a portapotty and a fee sign.

The USFS site still says no recreation pass required at TH, but I looked on the way out and there was in fact a sign (got halfway down the trail before it occurred to me to wonder, "Wait, if there's a portapotty...").

Same for the Polallie TH. The field guide lists no fees, but USFS site says NWFP required May 15 to Oct 1. I was out there yesterday and there was a portapotty and fee signs.

A couple pages for hikes from that TH also mention it as a fee-free alternative to Tamanawas Falls TH, so they should probably be edited too. Tamanawas Falls and Lamberson Spur loop hikes at least, and possibly more.

Thanks field guide editors for all that you do!

I edited the Polallie Trailhead page and hikes starting there. Let me know if I made any mistakes.
