Tracy Hill Loop Hike

Post by AGHiker » September 8th, 2019, 3:15 pm

The hike description says "Pass a small copse of oaks with a memorial plaque." The plaque is long gone (photo attached).

Doing the hike counterclockwise, when reaching the lower portion where one would turn left (east) to get back to the road and to the beginning, "someone" has put many dead tree limbs over the trail, apparently to direct traffic to the right (west) toward a new bridge over Catherine Creek. (However we followed the old trail).

Thanks for the update, AG. Where is the new bridge (I haven't been out to Catherine Creek recently)? How would it fit into the FG's narrative?
