The googlemaps on the Harvey Road Trailhead page goes to a point on the Eagle Creek Trail.

Looks like the trailhead is near, marked "Douglas Trailhead"

The naming is very confusing. The OH Douglas Trailhead is labeled Wildcat Mountain TH on Google Maps.

Re: Harvey Road Trailhead
I placed that pin myself. The location is correct within the error margin of consumer GPS. This is NOT the Douglas / Wildcat Mountain TH. I am not responsible for naming the latter so I shall let someone else address that issue.
Re: Harvey Road Trailhead
The errors are with Google Maps. I would not use them for backcountry navigation. That Douglas Trailhead pin is crazily off. You can access the west end of the Douglas Trail from the Harvey Road Trailhead, down the entry logging road and once you get on Forest Service land. Most people only use the section from the Douglas Trailhead (The Wildcat Mountain Trail is a little 0.1 mile spur off the Douglas Trail!).

Re: Harvey Road Trailhead
To be fair, the directions on the FS site to the "Douglas Trailhead" are to Harvey Rd. (identical to the Eagle Creek Trailhead page), though their trail description on the trail page, trailhead page, and PDF download all direct you to the trailhead at the Wildcat rock pit (which they call the "Upper Douglas Trailhead"). And the pin for the trailhead on their Recreation Map is stuck somewhere out by the Dalles. So there's lots of room for confusion if you're trying to follow the "offical" source.

I had to check that for myself; crazy!squidvicious wrote: ↑November 15th, 2018, 4:49 pmAnd the pin for the trailhead on their Recreation Map is stuck somewhere out by The Dalles.
Re: Harvey Road Trailhead
There's a bit of general confusion in that area anyway. The gate up top changed the directions and descriptions for the hikes up there and I'm not sure they're properly fixed. And that Google Map doesn't help down below. The FS doesn't help at all. The road was "closed" for a bit or too busy with log trucks. I tried to fix the trail names and trail head names on OSM but I'm not sure I got it right and it looks like someone did some bad edits up there too.
Isn't that road up to the quarry decommissioned or is it for ORVs? Is there a parking area at the quarry?
Kinda weird how it's all messed up.

The short section of road from the FG Douglas Trailhead at 45.30372, -122.06607 up to the quarry is indeed decommissioned, and not open to motorized vehicles of any kind to the best of my knowledge.

Re: Harvey Road Trailhead
Thanks for checking this. I love that OH has a googlemaps link to the trailheads for directions to send to my phone. But I noticed the directions to this trailhead pin are different from the written directions and then got bogged down with the various names on google and the forest service. My plan was to hike from Harvey Road TH to Douglas/Wildcat/quarry, although I have not yet done it.
