85years young & hiking like a Loony!

Post by mayhem » September 16th, 2012, 11:59 am

I got just a little bit of inspriation yesterday near Vista Ridge. I saw 2 hikers coming up the trail & I said hi then I stopped the second hiker to chat and asked him to share his TR on PH. While talking I found out the guy out front was his dad an 85 year old blazing up the trail at loony pace!! 85 are you kidding? No he says! Bammm! there is still hope, Peder is correct !

A few weekends ago I was hiking on Mount Adams and met a couple just coming down from Hellroaring Viewpoint, she was 85 and he was 91.
