Do you know your Heart rate & Breathing rate?

Post by mayhem » September 5th, 2012, 9:52 am

Though it claims it is not a medical device the 4s apps are cool! I know my heart rate is between 48-62 I thought my breathing rate was 17-20. There are all kinds of heart rate apps & i have 4 but this one is the rock solid coolest & the most accurate for me anyway. Not sure about breathing rate though?

Way cool though! I saw this technology first used for lie detectors.. But any way Bammm!

cool! I have an uncle (70 yrs old now) who does ultra-marathons, and his resting heart rate is low enough that he falls asleep if he sits idle for too long.

when I was at the hospital for a day surgery test in August, I noticed that when they hooked me up to the machines my resting heart rate was about 55 bpm which surprised me. Not sure about my respiration.

Is that a 4s specific app?

I'm not sure, I'll check on my 3GS to verify if it works there to.

Sleeping heart rate is low 40s. Resting heart rate while awake is low 50s.

kwpPNW, I downloaded that one yesterday and tried it out. Then I tried it a second time, but instead of putting my finger over the camera, i just set my phone down on my deck. Now I know my deck is in good condition, it has a healthy heart rate of 65!
