Oregon Hikers

I can't. There may not be enough to go on; it's on a gravel road, very little imprint. I noticed them when walking a logging road in the coastal range last weekend.

The size and those humanlike toes leads me to say 'bear'.

I see Batman.

I was worried that it was bear. I'd much prefer batman.

Are you kidding? You're in MUCH more danger from Batman than Oregon bears.

Bears in oregon are fearful of humans, make sure you can quickly whip out your camera

Jerry, next time I will time the shot better so I get the critter instead of it's tracks; that'll really simplify the ID.

I'm not sure what this is, but nothing indicates bear to me. My first thought is that this could be multiple registers of deer tracks. Gravel is usually a horrible subsrate for track ID. My sloppy drawing...

maybe raccoon????

I don’t believe so Jerry. In this hard-packed substrate I believe a raccoon walking would likely leave no sign. I think the thing that looks like a hand (which is too big for raccoon, and has incorrect toe arrangement for raccoon or bear) is not a single track, but several indirectly registered tracks from hoofed animals.
