Anyone know what this goes to? I found it on the White River Glacier yesterday on Mt Hood.

Re: Battery door? Airplane?
you're teasing us about high route
Re: Battery door? Airplane?
Thanks for finding that. I think it fell off the MOG I was test driving last week.
Re: Battery door? Airplane?
MOG?? Please enlighten me and my lack of knowledge of this term.

Search "Mercedes MOG"
Re: Battery door? Airplane?
Nice...that would be right at home up there! Interesting that searching on MOG and even “test driving mog” didn’t bring it up. Mercedes certainly did the trick.
Re: Battery door? Airplane?
They even make tricked out campers. I want one.
Re: Battery door? Airplane?
Oops, I think you mean White River Glacier. There's a White Water Glacier on Rainier, and one on Jefferson, I think. (You mentioned elsewhere that you were on Hood.)
Could that be from a snowmobile? I spotted a big piece piece of fiberglass once high on Adams, and thought it was aircraft (because of course its appearance from a distance was consistent with painted aluminum) but up close I realized it had to be from a snowmobile.
Re: Battery door? Airplane?
You are correct! I meant White River Glacier. It was definitely aluminum...had those rivets that are consistent with aircraft too.
Thanks for the correction...I've been a little sleep deprived.
