Catherine Creek Wildflower ID

Post by forestkeeper » April 12th, 2016, 6:30 pm

HELP!!!!!!! You would think by Googling purple wildflower at Catherine Creek, Washington would bring up at least nearly a dozen specimens. Yet only a few tiny purple flowers were shown.

Any idea what these purple wildflowers are called?

And these white wildflowers with a trace of purple on their under pedals?

Both were shot today, April 12, 2016, just inside an nearly extinct horse corral, on the south side of the Old Hwy 8.

Thank you!!!

By the way, I bet you'd have found the camas if you'd googled BLUE flowers at Catherine Creek...
