Witch's Butter?

Post by Arturo » March 28th, 2016, 7:01 am

Saw this coming down from Devil's Rest Sunday. I googled orange brain fungus and came up with Jelly fungi, one of which is called Witch's Butter. Anybody see these before?

It looks like witches' butter (Tremella mesenterica) - very common around here. If the sun hits it, it will literally begin to melt.
