White Flower on Timberline Trail near Zigzag Canyon

Post by Stevefromdodge » December 1st, 2008, 5:10 pm

Found a few of these on the lowest switchback on the south side of Zigzag Canyon. They were growing in a very muddy area.

Ideas?

Montia sibirica - Spring Beauty, Candyflower

Some of the background leaves are right, and its notched white flowers usually have at least a touch of pink.

This one is a decent salad green too - not as good as its close relative Miners Lettuce though.
....where does that trail go?
