Need help finding a photographer's website / gallery

Post by jimsiff » September 24th, 2008, 9:26 pm

I'm looking for the website for a specific wilderness photographer that seems to focus on mountainscapes, sunrises, sunsets, lake reflections, etc. He has done a lot of work in the Northwest, Sierra, and other parts of the western US. He tends to travel in the backcountry to get to many of his locations. His pictures are generally extremely vibrant in color and he's won several awards for his prints. He also sells copies of his work online. I don't remember his name or his website. I know this information is vague and next to useless given the variety of photography talent out there. Nonetheless, I'm hoping some of you could give links to some of your favorite NW landscape photographers. Maybe I'll get lucky and find him. I've had no luck with Google.

Thanks
-Jim

Hi Jim, a couple that came to my mind so far were:
John Macmurray :

Thank you both for the replies. They're all great photographers... and Marc Adamus is the man. A few years back, I had planned to purchase one of his prints, but never got around to it. Then, after a HD crash, I lost my bookmark to his site.
