Re: Which do you prefer???
I like the composition of shot #1 but prefer the exposure on shot # 2
Re: Which do you prefer???
No 1. I like the small cloud on the upper left corner balancing the big white cloud on the right with the big blue sky on the left. Interesting.

Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.

I like the first.
I hesitate to add a critique since you didn't ask for one. But if I may be so bold, you may want to lighten up on the polarizer. I'm probably the last person who should be giving that advice considering that I have a hard time doing it myself.

On the same topic of "which do you like better". what are your thoughts on these? The first is all about the mountain. The second is about the trek. (Mt Hood from Bald Mountain 8-22-08)
Re: Which do you prefer???
i like the second better. what i like is that the mountain isnt just filling the frame, its a background. i like the exposure and composition as well.

Number two. The trail leads nicely into the scene.

For the sno park shots, I like the first one better. Too much sky in the second one.
As for the Bald Mountain shots, I like them both, but I prefer the first one because you can see more of the mountainous terrain.
