These cameras (Nikon P900) are awesome. The picture below was taken at the Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve full zoom 83x, hand held, 75-100 feet away, at dusk. Only after taking the picture did I notice the Hummingbird. Pardon the crappy post processing.

Holy shit. (Not so much for the camera this time as for the hummingbird-robin alignment.)

I bought a Nikon p900 and it has allowed me to finally be able to take photos of birds. I could never justify spending thousands of dollars on a telephoto lens. The Nikon p900 was about $500.

Using a long superzoom camera requires a tripod for best results.
