Butte Creek falls

Post by Thenwhiker7 » December 3rd, 2014, 10:09 am

This is a few pictures from my little trip into Butte creek falls 11/30/2014. There was a lot of water going over and it was below freezing, so it made for little of challenge photographing with out getting water on my lens. But I was able to come home with a few great shots. I enjoyed my day trip into these falls with my son Alex and brother Chris. I have hiked into these falls for over 20 years and never get tired of going here.
Here is a link to the map of the area. http://www.oregon.gov/odf/northcascade/ ... _creek.pdf

I took one HD video of a kayaker going over the upper falls.

Damn. Last time I tried to get there the road was closed for logging.
I take pictures sometimes. And sometimes I post them here:

Yikes! I've paddled under the waterfall but not over it. That's a bit too crazy for me....
