I've been experimenting with the iPhone to use in place of a DSLR in well-lit shots. I'm really enjoying not packing a heavy camera into canyons with me.
I've found though there is one glaring thing that shows up with waterfalls on the smartphone photos....

The gap is closing, but it seems like waterfalls always bring out the shortcomings of cameras.

Based on the pictures it looks like slow shutter app? Have you tried longer exposure like 4sec -8sec Or ProHDR APP?

Ya Mark, I was indeed using the slow shutter app. I used the 4 and 8 second options on that day I was at Abiqua, I'll have to see if I've got any saved.mayhem wrote:Based on the pictures it looks like slow shutter app? Have you tried longer exposure like 4sec -8sec Or ProHDR APP?

I'm gonna give Average Camera Pro a shot. Instead of one long image, it takes up to 128 images and combines em
