Man helps rescue woman who fell off trail near Multnomah Falls

They've named alcohol as a factor in the fatal fall. So I guess there is something you could be doing to avoid it happening to you after all.

Oh man. It's a huge bummer all around, but that really twists the knife.

They're now saying he probably had a heart attack which caused him to stumble. He had a beer but not enough to cause a fall.
Not much of a lesson for anyone else wanting to avoid.
Sad because he had 5 kids, sounds like a nice guy.
