Re: Hikers heed
Don't dive head-first into a pit toilet? Roger wilco.
Re: Hikers heed
This is why I always secure my car keys before coming near a grate in the street/parking lot, a restroom, boat dock, etc. The life-defining moment: how badly do I want to retrieve it? In the case of a cell phone, I wonder how well it would work after the big splash and how much cleaning would be needed before using it again. At the very least, I would be using the speaker phone option for a long, long time.

But Da-a-aaadd! They used to dive into cesspools on M-TVeeee-eeeee-eeeee.......Don't dive head-first into a pit toilet? Roger wilco.
They should have also directed her to a psychotherapist who could help out with her cell phone addiction.Rescue crews strongly recommended that she seek medical attention after being exposed to human waste, but the woman declined.
Can't fix stupid though.
