climber discovers fumarole on Hood summit

KOIN reports a climber at 11,200' on Mt Hood fell into a fumarole.
I had no idea there were vents that high on Hood! :lol:

I wouldn't have been surprised if they didn't say that the incident happened at the 12,000 foot mark on Mt. Hood :shock: . Just shows that they all get their 'news' from the same source and if that source is wrong (or just plain made up) then they are all wrong which seems to be happening more often these days.
