Oregon stealth reopening

Post by squidvicious » May 5th, 2020, 11:52 am

"Effective today, some state parks, outdoor recreation facilities, and ski areas will reopen"

Oh, did we not mention? Yeah, those are open now. Not saying exactly which areas, just that it's not the gorge or coast.

Looks like you have to keep checking in on individual areas for updates, and for other agencies to catch up and make their decisions. It's more like an announcement that places are allowed to open, though they haven't necessarily done so yet.

I see a possible coordination of Oregon and Washington to open Gorge parks and trails at the same time. This might spread the people out more. I think places like Multnomah Falls are still problematic.
