http://lar.wsu.edu/airpact/gmap/ap5/ap5smoke.html shows a 15+ acre fire in Indian Heaven Wilderness, near the PCT/Junction Lake area.

:(

I just was in IHW last weekend, mozzies almost gone, berries were ripe, best time of year to visit.

If the map shows it right, it looks like the fire is centered on/near East Crater, same as last summer. It's not on Inciweb yet, so probably no closure order have been issued. Maybe wet weather will take care of it in the coming days.

P.S. Map also shows smoke source just south of Mt. Adams. Haven't heard anything so it may be very recent.

The fire no longer shows on WSU's map.

Cool. Same happened with the other fire (or maybe just a program error), and about a week ago one was showing west of St Helens' Coldwater Lake, and it was gone in a day.
