Elowah Falls
Elowah Falls
I know the trail to the falls has been closed, and probably won't re-open for a while yet, but does anyone have any information on how badly the McCord Creek/Elowah Falls area was burned? I know it's only about 3 miles from where the fire started. Just wondering if the falls area is mostly cinders, or if there's some green left?

Re: Elowah Falls
I've seen some good hi-rez photos and can say the area is badly torched. The understory is 100% burned and the tree cover is not entirely obliterated but about 90% is dead and brown. Sad!
