OR / WA snow park permits

Post by K.Wagner » September 7th, 2013, 7:49 am

Just read in this morning's paper that the joint snow park program between Oregon & Washington is being split. WA officials say that the sharing has not been equal since the WA permit costs $40 & the OR permit costs $25, and that the WA program is more extensive, therefor more costly to maintain.

So now the winter recreationists get to pay $65 if they want to enjoy both sides of the big river. I know the agencies are getting squeezed tighter & tighter and I think it is reasonable for the users to contribute, but when's my paycheck going to increase a couple of $$ so I can afford to put in my share ???
