The Mt. Hood Wilderness Stewards are a group of Forest Service volunteers who hike wilderness trails in the Mt. Hood National Forest, interact with visitors, educate hikers about Leave No Trace, and answer all manner of questions about routes, campsites, conditions, and more. If you're interested in joining, see the attached flyer for more info. You can download an application at www.wildstews.org. A mandatory training is being held on Saturday, May 2. (UPDATE: training has been rescheduled from April 18 to May 2.)
