Iron Mountain & Echo Basin Camp Out with Wendell Wood,--July 18, 19, and 20th
On Saturday, explore the wildflowers of Iron Mountain, one of the most botanically diverse areas of the Oregon Cascades, with naturalist Wendell Wood. Then visit an outstanding old-growth grove of Alaska Yellow Cedar and wildflower meadows in the Echo Mountain Basin. On Sunday, hike the Cone Peak Trail with shaded forests, open hillsides bursting with wildflowers and outstanding views of snow-capped Cascade peaks. Plant list provided.
