Tuesday, October 17 and 24, 8:30 AM to 4 PM
McIver State Park, located on the Clackamas River between Oregon City and Estacada, is a 950-acre park with camping, boating, hiking and horseback riding opportunities for its visitors. There are over 14 miles of trails for hikers and horseback riders in the park.
The Maple Ridge Trail is one of the most popular trails in this state park. It meanders for about a mile through forested areas. It is in need of maintenance to address a 2016 slide, as well as drainage in the lower sections of the trail. These two Tuesday work parties are the first of others that will be planned during the fall and winter season.
Hike to the work site will be no more than 1/2 mile.
