"To look into the eyes of a wolf," said Aldo Leopold, "is to see your own soul."
In this beautiful and important documentary, filmmaker Julia Huffman travels to Minnesota and into wolf country to pursue the deep intrinsic value of perhaps the most unjustly maligned animal on the face of the planet.
Medicine of the Wolf shares the insight of National Geographic photographer Jim Brandenburg, who has studied and worked with wolves over the past 45 years. Brandenburg provides a rare glimpse into their world, conveying the beauty and intelligence of the wolf, while uncovering the misunderstandings and fear we have of them. The film also has a crucial message for us: The gray wolf must be preserved on the endangered species list.
This film is Rated PG-13

Ooh, I wish I could go. I have been drawn to wolves all my life. They are absolutely amazing animals. They definitely need to stay on the endangered species list.
