Join Trailkeepers of Oregon for a two-day work party on the Bell Creek Trail in the Columbia Gorge!
Volunteers will backpack in to the Bell Creek Trail to do some extensive trail work. We’ll hike in Saturday, September 20 and camp overnight at the work site, then hike out on Sunday, September 21. There will be a lot of brushing, tread work, and some log clearing work.
The Bell Creek Trail is not as easy to access for trail work as other work parties located closer to trailheads; as such, it doesn’t always get a lot of attention. This work party will let us get in for some more extensive work. TKO is hosting this work party in partnership with PCTA and Mazamas.
No prior trail work experience is needed. TKO provides tools, safety equipment and training. You will need to provide your own food, camping gear, and pack it in to the work site. Sorry, no pack animal support for this one!
