This year, as we celebrate 40 years protecting Oregon's wildlands, wildlife, and waters, there's even more wild summer to be had with 40 different adventures offered by Oregon Wild and our sister organizations across the state. These hikes and events will venture into proposed Wilderness areas like Tamanawas Falls on Mount Hood, Grizzly Peak in the proposed Crater Lake Wilderness, and will also head to long time Wilderness favorites like Opal Creek, Three Sisters, and Table Rock, and the Columbia River Gorge.
All hikes are led by expert conservationists or dedicated volunteers and are free of charge (with a suggested donation). All trips will be led or shepherded by First-Aid and CPR trained staff or volunteers.
The hikes coming up for the month of July include:
7/3- Lookout Mountain-Badger Creek Wilderness Hike
7/3- Kalamath Basin Canoe and Kayak Trip
7/7- Donegan Prairie and Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness Hike
7/10- Eagle Creek Hike (Columbia River Gorge)
7/12- Tamanawas Falls Tree ID Hike
7/13- Olallie Mountain - Three Sisters Wilderness
7/13- Boulder Lake Hike
