The Friends of Mt Adams organization (of which I am now a member of the board) is hosting a one-day conference on Saturday, May 3 9am - 4pm, in Trout Lake celebrating 50 years since the signing of the Wildnerness Act. The cost is $35, which includes lunch.
The keynote speaker is Doug Scott from Seattle on "50 Years of Progress for Wilderness from Mt Adams and Around the World."
