WTA hosts four days of trailwork at Beacon Rock - Nov. 7-10

We're hosting a four day trail work event on Nov. 7-10 - Volunteer for one or more days with free camping provided by Beacon Rock State Park. Volunteers needed to do annual trail maintenance and, weather permitting, build a new section of trail (reroute) on Hardy Ridge. The Park's Group camp with large covered picnic area and Adirondack shelters is the perfect fall retreat for an extended weekend giving back to trails!

We've been working on a reroute on the west side of Hardy Ride where the trail follows an old logging road that is very steep. We're making it into a single-track trail that is still steep, but not nearly as steep as the road. Once the reroute is complete, we'll restore sections of the old road to nature.
