New to Oregon and looking for trip ideas and/or partners

Hello,
I recently moved to Coos Bay from the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada range and am looking for places to hike/ski/winter camp that will be within 4 hours from my new home town.
I like to consider myself an experienced adventurist and am looking for groups to join or ideas of places to check out. Prior to moving to Oregon, I mostly enjoyed long endurance hikes with a peak attempt. However, since moving to Oregon I have been plagued with responsibilities that have kept me from exploring the terrain and now that the days are longer, I am looking for casual hikes/skiing trips that range from 10-20 miles with no more than 3000ft of elevation gain. Probably less if on skis (it has been two years since I have used my AT skis). I do have all the necessary gear for all weather and most terrain conditions.
I would like to explore as much terrain as possible and am open for any ideas or suggestions.
Happy trails....
Danielle
